Ankit Lal
2021:
Mayank had spent nearly a decade working in the India Media Industry, and for the last two years since 2019, had been successfully working as a service professional in the political content and strategy in Indian politics. By now he had won international awards and had worked with the top leaders of the country. So now he wanted to take a break and work on his dream of creating a company which not only touches the lives of billions of people worldwide but also inputs a positive value in the lives of everyone working in the company.
The next one year he spent giving his vision a solid frame-work, meeting leaders of various fields and came up with a global plan to bring his vision to life.

2022:
Building a startup not only requires risk taking appetite but also someone who understands and believes in your vision. The first person whom Mayank thought of bringing on-board was Ankit Krishna Lal. Ankit was the co-founder of Aam Aadmi Party (one of the most successful political parties) in India, and was also successfully running his own political consultancy and tech firm. Ankit had hired Mayank through an agency a few years ago during Delhi elections as the chief speech writer for the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal. Another important aspect as to why Mayank approached Ankit was that Ankit had global exposure and has been covered by the likes of Reuters Institute of Journalism and BBC among many others. He also authored a book titled ‘India Social’ in 2017 which documents the impact of social media on various facets of life in India and has been part of discussion panels on social media at Harvard and University of Michigan. He is already part of four ventures in the field of Government Consultancy, Communication consultancy, Solar Energy and New Tech.
After going through Mayank’s plan thoroughly, on a warm winter Sunday afternoon, Ankit was convinced of the vision and Mayank’s tenacity and came on-board as the pre-seed investor and partner in the company, RBD Film Productions Pvt Ltd. RBD is the Indian arm of Kronen Media Lab, and came into existence first.

Early 2023:
Together, Mayank and Ankit created two of their kind web series, namely- Bhor and Vaikunth. Bhor (Dawn) is a fictionalized version of life of two political leaders of India who heavily influenced and shaped Indian politics for good three decades. Vaikunth (Paradise) is a dark and gritty story of three women and their journey of revenge and redemption. Both the web series are under production.

April 2023:
In April, Mayank met a mutual friend of Ankit and his- Prashant Jagdish Kanojia. Prashant had been a renowned journalist while working with The Wire. Prashant is known widely across the country for fighting for the underprivileged and being a strong voice for social justice. Mayank met Prashant over coffee, and discussed his plan of expansion to the U.S., and making the company’s pole position there. Prashant, just like Ankit, having a large appetite for risk and vision came on-board as the third co-founder of Kronen Media Lab.
Mayank, Ankit and Prashant- these three co-founders are the first generation entrepreneurs in their respective families, and all three of them come from a deeply humble background, each of them building everything from scratch.

November 2023:
The name “Kronen” is derived from the first product of the Kronen Media Lab- The ORDER Chapter 1. It’s a novel planned to be published in the U.S. market in July 2024. The company Kronen Media Lab is registered in the U.S., and thus begins a new journey.
